Promise Neighborhoods (PN) Competition Deadline: September 10, 2024
The U.S. Department of Education is seeking applicants to the Promise Neighborhood program which aims to improve academic and developmental outcomes of youth living in distressed areas. Outcomes include school readiness, high school graduation and access to community-based services. YouthBuild Grant Program Deadline: September 18, 2024
The U.S. Department of Labor has announced funding for the YouthBuild Grant program that provides support to organizations providing pre-apprenticeship services including skills training, to opportunity youth between 16 and 24 years old. Digital Equity Competitive Grant Program Deadline: September 23, 2024
The U.S. Department of Commerce is soliciting applications for the Digital Equity Competitive Grant Programs to promote digital equity and inclusion. The competitive grant program of $1.25 billion will support efforts to achieve digital equity, promote digital inclusion and increase use of broadband by Covered Populations including programs that facilitate educational, training, and employment opportunities. Strengthening Community College Training Grants (SCCTG) Deadline: September 24, 2024
The U.S. Department of Labor will fund a fifth round of the Strengthening Community College Training Grants which provides resources for community colleges to develop and provide training opportunities for learners. Funds will be used to meet the skill needs of employers and support students obtaining good jobs in in-demand industries. Sector-based career pathways are a key component to this grant program.
